Your New Break-Up Coach and Self-Love Strategist
Did you know I am a certified Personal Performance and Life Mastery Coach with Bachelor's degree in Psychology? My specialty is keeping it moving. I guide my clients through personal turmoil. I help them get unstuck and make significant shifts in their lives with a sense of urgency. I instill the importance of being with oneself for an extended period, detoxing from the energies of others, and learning to love oneself in more profound, more meaningful ways. I teach my clients how to become more vigilant and vocal. I teach them how to advocate for themselves in all their relationships and leave the people, places, circumstances, and ideas that no longer serve their higher selves. I’m a no-bullshit, tough-love coach, and I’m phenomenal at what I do. As my client, you won’t have to be perfect, but you will have to be present.
A Little More About Me:
Elisabeth Ovesen is the three-time New York Times bestselling author behind the Karrine Steffans pen name and literary brand, with books published by media giants HarperCollins Publishers and Hachette Book Group, USA. Elisabeth and her books have been featured on shows hosted by Paula Zahn, Donny Deutsch, Bill O’Reilly, Geraldo Rivera, Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and Oprah Winfrey. Featured internationally in countless magazines and newspapers, Elisabeth’s Karrine Steffans persona and books shocked the world, forcing a conversation about the sexual deviances of the entertainment industry fifteen years before the ‘Me Too Movement.’
Since 2006, Elisabeth has served as a keynote speaker and workshop leader at notable colleges across the country, including California State and Dillard Universities. The following year, she proudly contributed satirical on-air content for HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher. From 2009 to 2015, Elisabeth worked as a speculative teleplay writer for Fox Television Studios, reporting directly to then studio President David Madden. The studio also optioned the film rights to all of the Karrine Steffans memoirs during that time.
As a freelance copywriter, Elisabeth has provided B2B sales, advertising, and website copy for literary publishing projects, as well as literary event planning, marketing materials, pitch, and sales decks. A whiz at SEO practices, Elisabeth has also built, implemented, and maintained SaaS sales conversion funnels, membership and website builder software, e-commerce platforms, and payment portals. A marketing spitfire, she has developed and implemented strategies to generate earned media, drive awareness, and increase engagement for her business and freelance clientele.
Between 2013 and the present day, Elisabeth has mentored and coached over 170,000 women through her now-shuttered online personal development platform, The Gorgeous Girl’s Guide, and her Performance and Self-Mastery Coaching firm. In 2015, after completing her original ten-year plan, Elisabeth retired the Karrine Steffans pen name and from book publishing. Six years later, Elisabeth returns with essays and a bi-monthly sex, love, relationship column at LEVEL, A Medium Publication.
The author currently straddles both coasts and is hard at work on her next book.
